Floods cannot be avoided no matter where you live. Although some people live in areas that are more prone to storms. In southern California the weather is difficult to predict. What has been predicted does not always line up with what actually happens. It is best to always be prepared for rainfall and flooding as it can happen to anyone at anytime.  

There are different types of flooding such as:
