Saving Tile Baseboards

SERVPRO of San Jacinto/ Idyllwild/ Lakeview arrived at this home after suffering from a slab leak. The leak itself was found underneath the stairs by a professional plumber and the home owners called us to see if we could assist in finding anything that had been affected by the water intrusion.

After doing a thorough check of all the surrounding areas we found that this wall in the hallway was reading moisture just above the baseboard.

We decided the best way to dry this out would be to use a machine called an Injectidry. It will blow the air inside the wall cavity to help dry it out sufficiently with out needing to do too much demolition. This way we did not need to touch the tile baseboard or risk any damage to it.

The wall dried out after a couple of days and the home owner only had to patch up the holes we had drilled in. Over all a very happy customer!
